is it possible to add a mapgrid to a mapinset with ArcObjects SDK c# ?

i need to add a CustomOverlayGrid to a map inset in my PageLayout with ArcObjects SDK c#. is it possible?.

i have implemented this issue for the main map and it works great.

but i am having difficulties in implementing this for the map inset.

any idea or indication will be very helpful
