I have been doing file geodatabase checkout replication here in the united states using ArcObjects. Now we are expanding our user base to include users in Brazil. The problem is that their numbering system in brazil is different than ours. When they create a file geodatabase through replication from our server here in the united states, it properly formats their file geodatabase to read numbers correctly for them. 10000.01 in the US = 10 000,00 in brazil. Note the comma instead of the decimal.

The problem is that when they make a change to any of the data and sync it back up to the united states server we get an error on that field. It looks something like this.

Underlying DBMS error. Arithmetic overflow error converting float to data type numeric

Has anyone ever tried to do this type of replication? It works when creating the replica on the client side, but I cant seem to sync up the changes here in the us?
