      <title>Visual Studio 2008 Application Extension (Desktop) is missing.</title>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm checking out "Getting started with the item templates" in the "ArcGIS Resource Center".&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;They have me starting a new project in Visual Studio and selecting down the tree as follows:&amp;nbsp; Visual Basic; ArcGIS; Extending ArcObjects then grabbing "Application Extension (Desktop)" to open the project template.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;There is no "Application Extension (Desktop)" just the following (image).&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;[ATTACH=CONFIG]17054[/ATTACH]&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Any idea how to get that template?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm well versed in VBA, but only a novice at vb.net.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Visual Studio 2008&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;ArcInfo Desktop 10.0&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;John&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
