Problem in installing cutom tool in ArcGIS 10

Hi All,

I have created a custom tool for both arc catalog and arc map, and created a setup file following the steps provided in the below link.
http://help.arcgis.com/en/sdk/10.0/arcobjects_net/conceptualhelp/index.html#//00010000016r000000.

When I installed, it has installed successfully. But Iam not able see the tool neither in ArcMap nor in ArcCatalog nor in Add Remove Programs. What could be the problem?

Please can anybody help me?

I was successful after following the documentation you refer to. But I also had to modify my project file as described in the "ESRIRegAsm" section of http://help.arcgis.com/en/sdk/10.0/.../0001000002m2000000/

Did you verify that it registered? Here's a blurb from the help that explains where to verify:

The XML database generated by ESRIRegAsm.exe has a .ecfg file extension. It is a zipped XML file that can be unzipped and read.
For ArcGIS Desktop 10, the .ecfg file is located at, ~:\Program Files\Common Files\ArcGIS\Desktop10.0\Configuration\CATID.
For ArcGIS Engine 10, the .ecfg file is located at, ~:\Program Files\Common Files\ArcGIS\Engine10.0\Configuration\CATID.
