I've brought a csv into ArcMap successfully. I'm able to view the table and it shows all 60-ish fields. When I run the XY to Line process, the only fields in the newly created layer are OID, Shape*, x1, y2, x2, y2, and Shape_Length. x1, y1, x2, and y2 of course come from the csv table but those are the only fields from the table that are preserved. I've tried renaming all the fields with shorter names and no spaces but that didn't work. Can anyone tell me how to run XY to Line and preserve all of the fields from the table? Thanks.

Please refer to DanPatterson's Post and Solution. If you're using ArcMap, make sure your *.csv includes an "ID" field. Once the shape is created via XY to Line process, you can then join other data to the shape by the "ID" field.

~Jeff
