topic ArcGIS stopped working when tool is made variable in model builder in ArcMap Questions

Hi,

I am working with ArcMap 10.8 and is using model builder for a task. I am trying to make the tool Rescale by function as a variable and want to get outputs for the different functions such as MSSMALL, Gaussian, Linear etc. For this i right clicked the tool "Rescale by function" after dragging it into the model builder and made it into a variable, from parameters i clicked on transformation function. Then right clicked the blue bubble with transformation that popped up and made a list of values under general tab. Also added the different transformation functions that I want to apply by writing the names there in many rows such as MSSMALL # # # # # #, LINEAR # # # # # # etc.. I then connected the input raster into the rescale by function tool. The output names and the rescale value ranges were left with default values.

Now when I finally try to run the tool, I get the error message that ArcGIS Desktop has stopped working. Am I doing something wrong or why is this happening?
