Unfortunately, many of the layers (shapefiles) have locks that don't follow the conventional name.shp.sr.lock format. In ArcMap (10.8.1), they follow this format: r.lock[layer name]. The person who created this layer no longer works at the organization, so I know that this isn't open somewhere else. Additionally, something odd I'm encountering is that, in File Explorer, the shapefile files do not do not have the "lock" extension anywhere.</P><P>Does anyone have any experience with this?
