    <description>&lt;P&gt;If it's just for visual display purposes, then you can apply a clipping mask in the data frame properties. And exclude any layers you don't want to clip (including the basemap).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Otherwise, if you want a geoprocess to clip all your layers and make new data, then just clip each one in turn and relink the existing layers to the newly clipped versions in the TOC&lt;/P&gt;</description>
