    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have forever been plagued with the "ArcGIS for Desktop has encountered a serious application error." Without fail, I get this error message every day, even when I'm not using any ESRI products. I can go weeks without using ArcGIS and I will still get this error every day.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The problem has been going on for at least 6 months, but it didn't really bother me until recently. Now, it's happening every hour. I am using 10.5.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any thoughts on what I can do to stop the persistent application error message?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Call technical support.&amp;nbsp; It could be one of many things.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I assume you have done a complete uninstall and reinstall of all esri products.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also, do the crashes happen with new projects or only existing ones?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;They will require information on what you are using, your computer specs and myriad of other bits of information.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good luck&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
