ArcMap takes more than 3 mins to open and initialize license

Hi,

Arcmap 10.7.1 takes along time to open and initialize license, the license is concurrent and configured by License manager on another server.

Please help regarding the issue?

Has it always been slow?

Is this before you open a project?

Connection to the internet? (hardwired, wireless )

If this is while a project is being opened

Nature and location of the data? (locally saved vs cloud etc)

All projects?

How many map and layouts?

Lots of graphics?

Cleaned out your cache?

The list goes on

Is this before you open a project? Yes while initializing License it take more time

Connection to the internet? (hardwired, wireless ) Wired

If this is while a project is being opened Empty map document

Nature and location of the data? (locally saved vs cloud etc) No data is added to the map doc.

All projects? Yes

How many map and layouts? No maps

Lots of graphics? No graphics within the document

Cleaned out your cache? Cleared

Do you have network connections set up? These could be broken and are taking a while to time out. Try renaming the Normal.mxt file (located in C:\Users\*YOURUSERNAME* \AppData\Roaming\Esri\Desktop*XX.X*\ArcMap\Templates) to see if that makes any difference.

Hi Ken,

Yes the License manager is installed on a server machine but how to trace the initializing of the licence?

I renamed the mxt file but the issue is still occurs.
