Esri Workforce 'Unable to open project'

Hello,

I am receiving an error message when trying to access a Workforce project that i have been using for several months. It has only suddenly shown this error message:

Any assistance would be greatly apreciated.

Hi Liam,

Are you able to capture a HAR file when trying to open your Workforce project?

Also, have you made any other changes to the project, group or items in the project outside of Workforce?

Hi Chris, Thanks for your response.

After a bit of playing i have found that i can access the project-if i go through the 'Content' tab.

I'm not sure why it would make any difference opening a Workforce project through content vs. through the Workforce home page or how I would resolve this issue.

Liam, that is odd - it could be a few things.

Can you capture a HAR file to help identify the issue?

Hi Craig, i have saved a HAR file of the issue but i can't see an option for attaching a file to this thread. Is there any way to send the file to you otherwise?

Hi Liam, when you launch Workforce from the content tab you might be launching it over "http", but perhaps when you access it differently, it's over "https". The workforce.arcgis.com domain supports both http and https. Depending on the service urls the Workforce Project has, this could cause a mixed content error.

Can you try accessing it at "https://workforce.arcgis.com" and at "http://workforce.arcgis.com" - does one work but the other doesn't?

Thanks Arron, Workforce opens under https but not http.

Unfortunately the Launch Workforce button on the Workforce for ArcGIS front page directs you to the http:// URL, I guess that should be updated.
