topic Workforce Project not downloading when using layers copied from SDE in ArcGIS Workforce Questions

Hello,

We recently migrated our workforce projects back to the older version after a slew of sync issues on mobile devices. After doing so, our Sanitary Workforce project will not download.

I opened up a ticket with ESRI to resolve this, and it turns out that copying data from an SDE database was the issue (note this is NOT a referenced service, I am publishing the layer from SDE to AGOL by copying the data, not creating a link to SQL server)

When I publish the same layers with no changes, but from a FGDB export of the SDE data... the project downloads successfully.

Is there really that big of a difference between copied data from an enterprise geodatabase, and an export from an enterprise geodatabase? I would think since the data is being copied directly to the server, it shouldn't matter?

Thanks for any help!
