idea Taking feature geometries (line/polygon) directly as assignment geometries in Workforce in ArcGIS Workforce Ideas

It would be great if line and polygon features are used directly for assigment geometries.

Currently the assignments are placed at the middle point of line features. If the line is not straight, the assigment point is placed on the center point of the curved line. This can in some cases, be far away from the original line (eg. if the line is long and a big curve).

Multiple point assigments when working with different line and polygon geometries makes the workers map overloaded and confusing.

Line and Polygon Assignments could also be displayed differently according to their status:

Grey: Unassigned

Light Green: Assigned

Dark Green: Completed

Red: Declined

etc.

Many Thanks!

Yes, we need line and polygon features to be included in Workforce.

I agree,

would be very helpful to see lines and polgons displayed according to their status.

It would be so helpful to give field workers assignments directly to parcel boundaries.

This upgrade would definately be welcomed as we have many use cases that this would work for
