Reassign Work Assignments

Hello,

My organization has multiple levels of supervision and for us to implement Workforce for ArcGIS we need the ability to reassign work that as been assign. For instance we get a report a tree fallen on a trail. The initial work assignment is assigned by our natural resources superintendent (dispatcher) to our forestry crew chief. Our forestry crew chief (also a dispatcher) then assigns the tree assignment to a mobile field work on their crew.

It would be great in the future to be able to do all of the dispatching in the mobile app, because our dispatchers (crew chiefs and superintendents) spend much of their time in the field.

We need the same thing! As we use workforce to collaborate with our partner, we need to assign a task to another dispatcher. So if we create a task, we send it to our partner who then decides which fieldworker would do it.

Seems like a simple thing to implement, but it would help us a lot.

Same here. Some of our Assignments have multiple tasks executed by multiple crews. So Dispatcher would create the initial assignment (TASK A to crew A). Once crew A complete Task A, they would assigned Task B to crew B and so on. So having the Work Name and assignment Type in the assignment feature layer would help a lot.
