JTX Job_ID creation not sequential

Hi All,

Have recently noticed that when creating jobs in JTX 9.3.1 that the Job_ID value is not sequential. For example, I might create 5 individual jobs and instead of getting Job ID 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 I might get Job ID 1, 2, 65, 66, 67.

Does the database have something in memory that remembers the ID of deleted jobs?

Hi Mark,

The Job Ids are using the Object IDs which are randomly generated. The JTX application has no control over the sequence of the IDs. I believe there is a database setting that allows you to set the incremental sequence of the database IDs.
