Add Data widget on WAB dev 2.3

Hi all,

I have been testing the new improvements to the Add Data widget on WAB, I have tested with shapefiles, csv and geojson. The shapefiles and csv work good, however, the geojson uploads but don render.

Please as anyone else encountered same?

I am just trying to get the AddData widget to work to add a shapefile - are you working in a federated or non federated environment?

I don't understand your question Rick, I am using ArcGIS Online not portal, and adding shapefile works fine for me (make sure you zip all its related files together)

Ah that explains it - we are using a local install of Portal for Arc GIS not the AGOL cloud solution.

Also, make sure the shapefile has the same geometry as the map, very important too

Yes aware of the zip requirements and the issues of coordinate conversion.

I am trying to get things to work on a local install of Portal and not have to federate the Portal with the Arc Server.
