Cached Image Services as basemaps in Web AppBuilder v1.2

Hi,

I'm still using WAB v1.2 and just discovered that I can't use my cached Image Services as WAB basemaps - that is, the app uses the dynamic images from the image service source but not the tiles. I know cached image services work with the latest WAB Dev Edition version, for example, but is there a way I could get this to work with v1.2 as well?

Okay, I made a Map Service out of the tiles and that works for a workaround but I'm still wondering if there's a better way...

Mihkel,

I seem to remember that this issue was fixed in the JS API in a later release than the one the WAB 1.2 uses. Besides you really need to move forward as WAB is now on version 2.4.

You're right, I really do need to move forward with my WAB apps , I hope to have the time to bring my custom stuff forward soon.
