Web AppBuilder layers

After the recent update to ArcGIS Online, the Layer functionality in Apps created with Web AppBuilder does not behave the same. The Layers do not remain on and do not mirror what was setup in the ArcGIS.com map used to create the App. Has anyone else experience this issue?

Chris,

With the November update to AGOL the map layers current state (i.e. turned on or not) is saved when the app is closed and set to the saved state (not the original state of WebMap) when the app is reopened.

So "&level=1" at the end of the URL should do the trick for my users I take it.
