Single selection of a point - Batch Attribute Editor

I am looking to use the batch attribute editor or something similar to select one point feature on a map. The batch attribute editor does not appear to support selected points with the single selection mode as you have to click exactly on the point. There does not appear to be a buffer of the feature to support single point selection.

Is this possible or is there a better tool to use to edit point feature attributes?
