Editing layer created from Geoprocessing Service

Hi everyone. I've created a geoprocessing service to make an XY event layer within my web app, the service functions perfectly and allows me to upload a CSV and plot points on the map, as shown below.

However, I'd like the user to be able to select these points and edit attribute values as needed. I haven't found a good way to do this as the "Edit" widget requires me to define the editable layers beforehand. Is there any way for WAB to recognize these event layers as "editable" after their creation from within the app?
