Requirements and Steps for Web AppBuilder (Dev Edt 2.7,2.8) Deployment to the client computer?

Hi fellows,

We have developed a customized WAB app for the clients with our developer account. What is the best way and steps to install or deploy it to the client computer(server) assuming client have their own ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Online, or Portal? There are some confusions which we need to resolve before it goes to the client.

How to resolve app login, if the client has secure data and services and the client does not want it to the public?
Is it possible WAB can use the window active directory logging instead of AGOL? If Yes, how?
Is the client needs developer account?
What is the best way to login to WAB?

How to resolve app login, if the client has secure data and services and the client does not want it to the public? A: Deploy the esri Proxy resource to their web server and configure the proxy.json to include the username and password for the secured resource.

Is the client needs developer account? No but they will need an AGOL account.
What is the best way to login to WAB? ??? how is this different from question 1? A WAB app does not require login unless using secured services
