Web App Downgrading Custom Image Symbology

I am currently experiencing an issue where using custom images for point symbology is being downgraded to a much lower resolution when viewing the data in a specific web app.

When viewing the data in the source web map it looks like this -

However when viewing it in the impacted web app it looks like this -

It is working fine in another app that the data is used in.

It was working fine yesterday and no changes have been made in the meantime.

I have attached the image used for the symbology.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

When viewing in web map is that classic or new map viewer?

The symbology for the Map Viewer uses the 4.x version of ArcGIS API for Javascript which allows for hatching. Web AppBuilder uses ArcGIS API for Javascript 3.x, which cannot render hatching. If you use the map in Experience Builder (with uses 4.x), you should be able to see the hatching. If you use Map Viewer Classic, you won't be able to creating symbology with hatching, since it uses 3.x.
