Webapp Print Widget asking for login even when shared publicly

I'm facing an issue with the print widget in an ArcGIS public facing web application. When you click on the print widget it immediately asks for a login. The widget is shared publicly as well as all components of the application. Has anyone else come across this issue? I am working with Esri support as well as an Esri engineer and we are all stumped as to why this is occurring.

Have you verified that the print service being called by the widget is publicly shared as well?

I have. Double checked and made sure the print tool was shared publicly in portal.

If you don't provide credentials, can you get anything to print? Just wondering if you have services that you are trying to print that do not have access to the ArcGIS Server server that is running the print service.

Hi Daniel, I am experiencing the same issue after installing some enterprise patches. I have public apps/maps with public layers and when I print it prompts the portal login page. Were you able to get this resolved?
