Print Widget - layer does not display at low scale

Hi, I have a number of layers on my web map. I am using the default print widget in WAB. When I print at low scale, say 1:100K, one layer in particular does not appear in the print output. This is a complex layer. At higher scale e.g. 1:10K, the layer is displayed on output.

Other layers display at correctly at both scales.

I suspect this is due to some timeout. I have increased the timeouts in AGS, but it made no difference.

Any suggestions?

I am using ArcGIS 10.9

I'm not sure if there is any log files that you can review with the default print widget. Do you have the ability to create your own print service which you could see if the same phenomenon occurs and then you could review the log file.
