How to Make widgets configurable in builder ?

I have created the WAB Widgets now I want this widget to be configurable. I have followed following web help link

Make widgets configurable in builder—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers

As per above link I have created the Setting Folder with all the necessary files but when I opening my widget setting in a builder mode I am getting error. Is there any proper steps to make configurable settings for widget ?

Ameya,

There is probably a dozen or more reason you could be getting an error in your widget settings. No there is no more information on widget setting development then what you has already referenced. I main advice I can give you is check to see that the settings.js defines all the dijit and dojo component that you are using in your settings.html and use your browser developer tools to see what the issue is.
