Thinking icon or spinny wheel when loading Database sourced layer

Good Afternoon,

I have a an app that requires some time to refresh the filtered layers when navigating. This confuses the customer as the points disappear, redraw, then filter which means a lot of points disappearing and reappearing. I assume it is drawing from the database and redrawing from the filters.

Is there a spinny wheel or thinking/busy icon that can display when layers are redrawing?

Is this an out-of-the-box app existing on ArcGIS Online or your own hosted app? On your own app, you can use the WAB dijit "jimu/dijit/LoadingShelter". Here are some posts on how to use it:
