Need help! Embedded map stopped loading!

I created an arcgis map to lookup power company data for my dept to use to easily lookup power outages by address. I changed the basemap layer to an OpenSteetmaps variation, and now all of a sudden the stormap won't load when embedded:

Embedded:

Map is being shared as " Everyone (public)".

When the embedded map tries to load it displays an error " www.arcgis.com refused to connect. "

Has anyone had a simular issue like this? If so, is there a solution?

I think I fixed it. I'm not sure why it worked, but it did.
1. I set this layer 'Recent Weather Radar Imagery '(by NOAA GeoPlatform) as a base map instead of one of the other arcgis defaults

2. And then added, Electric Retail Service Territories ( by SGT_Peterson) a layer (layer that contains all the power company data), and all of a sudden everything started working. I'm not 100% why that worked though.
