Using Analysis Widget as External Group Member

I configured an app that contains Analysis widget's with Extract function. It works fine for the organization's users. However, a group member from external organization cannot use the widget. No layers show in the "select layer to extract" option although the account has access to them. The external account has the privileges to use premium content and run analysis. We confirmed that the account can perform analysis within their organization. Is this a known limitation? Or have I configured something incorrectly? I've been searching if the documentation shows the limitation, but I haven't found anything so far. I would appreciate any advice on how to fix the issue or if someone can confirm this is a known limitation.

Is the Extract function configured for a hosted feature service, or an ArcGIS Server feature service?

All the resources are hosted on ArcGIS Online.
