topic Geoprocessing Service zoom issue in ArcGIS Web AppBuilder Questions

I am having an issue with a route layer produced in web app builder. The layer is drawn by a Geoprocessing task built in model builder and published as GPserver in rest services. When I drop two or more points and run the service the resulting route layer is generated but my map zooms out to full extent. I think is a simple extent issue but I can't figure out where it needs to be changed. My route layer is stored in-memory so I cant set the feature extent. My map service extent is set to the boundary of my study area.
