Edit option not available from popup in WADB 2.11

We're using WABD 2.11 and I've noticed that the edit option is not available from the popup. With Portal apps I click the ellipsis at the bottom of the popup and one of the options is Edit. In the WABD app I now have to ensure the Edit tool is active and then click on a point and the popup is editable. Is this a change in behaviour and is there a way to add the Edit option back in to the option list under the ellipsis?

I had the exact same problem and I found this:

In WebAppBuilder, widget Edit, down the configuration window, if you check:

Honor settings in the web map = the Edit option don't show up in the ellipsis of the pop-up

Custom settings = the Edit option show up in the ellipsis of the pop-up
