Has anyone built a widget that requires user acknowledgement?

Has anyone built a widget that requires user acknowledgement/disclaimer that they would be willing to share?

I have a requirement from our attorney to require user acknowledgement to the disclaimer on specify ArcGIS Online maps that we are making accessible to the public. We found a template with a pop-up that the user can select a check box in but found out using the template that it caches the response and won't appear again if you re-launch the map. I need it to pop up each and every time.

Any help, guidance or direction would be appreciated.

Tracy,

Using the splash widget along with this code modification forces the splash widget to appear each site visit.

Replace your splash widget folder with this one and it should work.
