Popups not working when coordinate widget is visible

I've just created my first app using the webapp builder on ArcGIS online. Everything seems to be working pretty well but I have noticed that if I have the coordinate id tool visible in the app, the popups do not work. The only way I seem to be able to get them working is by either turning the coordinate widget to hidden or by measuring something and then the popups become available when I dismiss the measure tool. Is there an easier way around this "bug".

No there is no better workaround for this bug then doing exactly what you are doing, until esri fixes the issue in a future release.
