Start extent for each session

I have built an app in Web AppBuilder, when a user users it for the first time it goes to the default extent as defined by the default extent options here:

Map and Scene—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

However the next time that user users the app it takes them back to where they were last, rather than the default extent. Does anyone know how I cna have the app start at the default extent each time the map is launched or refreshed? I am guessing there is some caching going on

Darryl,

At WAB 1.3 there was a new feature to restore the maps extent and layer visibility to the last session. At 1.3 this was not configurable (you could not turn it off). At 2.x they made this a configurable option. So the question is what version are you using?

Thanks Robert, I had tried that but needed to clear my cache before testing.
