This would be great to see in the Web App Builder 'stock' tools. The custom widget works very well

Why hasn't Esri picked up on the demand for an elevation profile widget for Web AppBuilder?? Esri already provides a World elevation dataset that could be used as the default data source for the profile and customers could reconfigure the widget if they have their own higher resolution elevation dataset.

@AlixVezina that's not a solution for customers who still rely on WAB and the widgets that are not yet available in ExB. I just reviewed the ExB and WAB functionality matrix yesterday. There are at least 5 WAB widgets that we use regularly that are not available in ExB. And we rely on WAB in AGOL so please do not suggest the WAB Developers Edition.

WAB on AGOL is going to be around for a while so why not create an elevation profile widget for WAB?
