It should be an out of the box feature in the Infographic Widget (and really ALL applicable widgets) for me to easily be able to group on different parts of the DateTime to display frequency per day or month or year or hour of the day of day of the week, etc. based on a date field without having to create a text type date column to use as a class for displaying counts, and then a separate Month of the year column.
