How can one (if it is possible) set the symbol (size, shape, and color) of a clustered graphic to the same as that for the non-clustered graphics on the GraphicsLayer? Currently, the symbol for the parent of a cluster is NOT controllable nor it is bound to that for the non-clustered graphics (see attachment). The flareup is a facinating thing, and it will be nicer and better to have:

1. Unify the symbol for both clustered parents and the not-clustered graphics on the same GraphicsLayer. It would be even better if the symbol (circle) size can be linked to the number of flares (1 - MaxFlareCount). This can be done with additional cluster properties or enabled through Resources.
2. Overlap of flares should be avoided. If someone wants to have more than 20+ flares in one single graphic, he is probably more interested in the overall total than individual flares.
3. Some minimal control should be allowed for the flares (such as colors or simple shapes).

Thanks

Hi Yurong,

While you can't set the symbol for clustering, you can set the Maximum number of points, the Radius, and the foreground and background colors. Clustering help topic here.

Hope that helps,
Katy
