Removing solved route from display

Hello all,

I made a geoprocessing tool that finds the shortest route between two stops (entered by user) on a road network. Then, published it as geoprocessing service to be used in an ArcGIS viewer for Silverlight App.

On the web, when finding the shortest route between two stops, the route is added to the map. Then when finding another route, the new route appears on the map and the first one stills. And when finding more routes, the previous routes are kept. How can I change this behavior so when a new route is found the previous one is removed from the map? This is shown below with screenshots.
