Here's how to add a new basemap:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1) Click on "Settings" in the upper-right of the application builder&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2) Select the "Basemaps" tab&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;3) Click the "+" button in the middle left of the screen to add a new basemap&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;4) Define the URL of the published, cached, new basemap you wish you use&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;[ATTACH=CONFIG]27399[/ATTACH]&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;5) Go back to the main page by clicking the blue arrow in the upper right&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;6) Go to Configure &amp;gt;&amp;gt; Basemap &amp;gt;&amp;gt; and select your new basemap&lt;/BLOCKQUOTE&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I do the same step , when I try to add my own base map a messege&amp;nbsp; said ok appears but nothing added to the viewer . see attached file.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Dear all&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I'm started using silverlight recently, what I need is to add map service from my server only with the local coordinate , I don't need&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt; any base map , I try to remove the base map but remove icon is inactive, see the attached picture, any help will be appreciated.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;thanks&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

You can edit the basemap and initial extent here.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Another potential workaround is to publish your own blank map and add that as a new basemap to the Application Builder.
