topic basemap in ArcGIS Viewer for Flex Questions

OK, I'm sure I'm missing something obvious.

I currently have several applications using Flexview 2.4. I'd like to build some new ones in 3.1 without using the application buildier, and while it seems pretty straightforward, the one thing I can't seem to figure out is where in the config file can I specify the basemap to use.

By default it opens with the world topographic map, but I'd like it to come up with either Bing or Bing Hybrid (I've already added my Bing key, so they are both options in the mapswitcher widget).

Lon,

If you do not want the default basemap that the portal provided then you have to manually tell the viewer which one you want. See this thread:
