    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;OK, this seems like it should be a simple fix:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;I update the data on my various flex viewer applications once a month.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; That means turning off numerous map services for a short period of time.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Even though it's only 1/2 hour or so, at the most, I regularly get emails &amp;amp; phone calls (usually from the same group) complaining that the site is "broken".&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;What I'd like to do is redirect the site to a temporary "being updated" page.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I've gotten it to work - sort of.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; I have duplicate versions of both 'index.html' and 'default.htm' which show what I want, and&amp;nbsp; I can substitute them for the original versions.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; The problem is that the viewer is so heavily dependent on cached data that the new "being updated" page won't load until the user does a page refresh/F5.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; And unless they think to do so (most don't), they will continue getting the "failed to load" error.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Is there any way to force the application to load a fresh version?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
