   Here is a new widget now maintained by me.

The Link Widget version 3.3 for FlexViewer 3.3 or higher is a widget originally developed by Karl Wilson. I have taken over this widget with Karl's permission and tweaked a few things and updated the code for Flex Viewer 3.3.
New Feature include:

    * Tooltip when hovering over an actual link (one that contains a url).
    * Handling of items that do not have a icon specified by applying an undefined icon.
    * Added a zip file icon.
    * linksexpanded attribute added to LayerListWidget.xml
