topic Custom Basemap for the Print Widget in ArcGIS Viewer for Flex Questions https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-viewer-for-flex-questions/custom-basemap-for-the-print-widget/m-p/18280#M623 <HTML><HEAD></HEAD><BODY><SPAN>Hey I am still new to Flex and on a serious learning curve.</SPAN><BR /><BR /><BR /><SPAN>Here is the issue:</SPAN><BR /><SPAN>My organization has been using a utility template mxd&nbsp; for external clients request to id our resources on a pdf but we want to improve the process and make this functionality within Flex available to the entire organization and not just the GIS people.</SPAN><BR /><BR /><BR /><SPAN>I have published all the layers&nbsp; and customized the print widget so our template is an exact replica however when I hit the print function it will print to the ESRI basemap and I want to use our own symbology. So I published the desired basemap elements and their symbology to the server so I can just copy and paste the url into the basemap container within the Flex configuration code. However, for whatever reason the service I published will not display within the Flex map.&nbsp; I have changed the type to "tiled", "dynamic", "feature" etc with no success. PLEASE PLEASE HELP. </SPAN><BR /><BR /><BR /><SPAN>I have attached images to further clarify the scenario.
