Hey I am still new to Flex and on a serious learning curve.

Here is the issue:
My organization has been using a utility template mxd for external clients request to id our resources on a pdf but we want to improve the process and make this functionality within Flex available to the entire organization and not just the GIS people.

I have published all the layers and customized the print widget so our template is an exact replica however when I hit the print function it will print to the ESRI basemap and I want to use our own symbology. So I published the desired basemap elements and their symbology to the server so I can just copy and paste the url into the basemap container within the Flex configuration code. However, for whatever reason the service I published will not display within the Flex map. I have changed the type to "tiled", "dynamic", "feature" etc with no success. PLEASE PLEASE HELP.

I have attached images to further clarify the scenario. Thanks for your help
