Feature Layer Tips (map tips)

Is it possible to set/change the time limit to the mouse-over tips?
Currently it???s only a few seconds I would like to extend this time.

Version 2.3.1.1 now has this feature configurable.

Hello.

I was curious if anybody had a compiled version of the Feature Layer Tips (map tips) that was compatible with Flex Viewer 2.4. I'm not currently going to be switching over to 2.5, and have no idea when (or if) I am going to be switching over to 2.5.

If anybody has one of these I would greatly appreciate the help.

Here is the 2.4 version.

I am always curious as to why individuals do not update to the latest version of the viewer (being free and all). Care to share why you are delaying or are undecided if you even will update?

I am not able to make my own widgets, or even edit the existing the .swf of existing widgets, as I have no experience in Flash Builder whatsoever and my current position does not allow me the time to learn it. I have had a couple of widgets that were built for me by people who knew what they were doing that operate only in 2.4, so this is what I am currently using. I actually had to upgrade to 2.4 because the last widget that was built didn't work in 2.3.

Works for me for now I guess.

I am working with several versions due to the client's need for a specific widget. Some are not willing to move up t the next version because they use a widget for their daily operations. It would be ideal if all the widgets created by the community would still be available.

Nope the feature tool tip is for simple text. If you need that level of complexity then use popups.

There are many organizations which do not allow any updates without first doing a security review. I have even seen things a like an update to virus definitions or a critical security patch for Windows have to go through a security review first. Crazy? Yes.
