I am trying out different formatting on a few related tables. I have 3 choices of dateformat:
"shortDateShortTime"
"MM/DD/YYYY"
and "MM/DD/YYYY at K:NN A"

My preferred format, which I used in my old version of the widget is 7/13/2009 at 12:00 AM.

Previously, shortDateShortTime did not work, but MM/DD/YYYY at K:NN A yielded me the format I wanted, such as 7/13/2009 at 12:00 AM. Now, that same date format string comes out to be "Tuesday, July 13, 2009, 12:00:00 AM".
ShortDateShortTime also works but has the same exact result.
MM/DD/YYYY works, but if I add the time component, I get all the day of the week and not just the 12:00 AM part as it used to display.

How can I get my date to display as desired? I suppsoed having the day of week spelled out isn't terrible, but its hardly a ShortDate!

also, I notice that sometimes, whatever relate i open first is the dateformat that is shown for the next related table opened, regardless of what dateformat is show in the code. example, i open a table with the MM/DD/YYYY and its shows OK. I do another query, open the related table where the format is MM/DD/YYYY at K:NN A and it shows just as MM/DD/YYYY.

Anyone else have this problem?

Charlene
