Live Maps Grouped layer exapnded

Has anyone figured out how to get the live map layers to beopen when the felx viewer loads? The idea is to display/show the layers in a group without the user having to expand the group to view the layers.
I found one thread on this subject, but haven't been able to make it work and am lookng for other options.

I was able to make this work using the link forum link I posted in the thread above - I was just missing one line of code. The only downside, is that ALL layers are expanded or none are expaned - there is no control over which layers are expanded.
Hope it helps someone else looking for this solution.

Robert Scheitlin's TOC widget also allows you to specify whether the layers are expanded or not by default via the xml file (no code required).

It still doesn't let you choose whether to expand each service or not, however.
