Hello,

I downloaded the new version for Flex 3.1 and seem to be having problems with it.

All my data is lumped together in the Gulf of Guinea...

The coordinates appear to be correct as they work in other applications.

I formated the spreadsheet Latitude and Longitude columns to number with 5 digits past the decimal.

Any suggestions?

I am using ArcGIS 10.1 Desktop and Server software with Viewer for Flex 3.1.

George,

Do the coordinates in your excel spreadsheet share the same projection as your application, and do you have the x and y values the correct way round?

Hi i'm having an issue getting the widget to work in Flex Viewer 3.1

1172: Definition com.esri.ags.geod:Ellipsoid could not be found.    AddExcel.mxml    /FlexViewer3.1/src/widgets/AddExcel    line 22    Flex Problem


1172: Definition com.esri.ags.geod.geom:MoreUtils could not be found.    AddExcel.mxml    /FlexViewer3.1/src/widgets/AddExcel    line 23    Flex Problem

I copied as3xls into the com folder and added the library to the library path. I have agslib 3.1 installed and i'm using Flex 4.6.0. I added AddExcel.mxml to the flex modules. I'm guessing it has something to do with the agslib but I'm not sure what i'm missing here, any ideas?
