As promised at the Developer Summit, here is the link to my presentation, a short write up of tips and tricks and the source code for the migrated LiveLayerWidget. The LiveLayerWidget.mxml has comments in the code about all the changes so you can use it as a step by step process for you migration as well. As I mention in the word document "If you REALLY get stuck after REALLY trying to understand and figure it out yourself and have a SPECIFIC question about the migration, then post a question here".

I really appreciate you doing this. I was at the Dev Summit and your session was by far the most useful. Too bad it was 30 minutes too short.

I wanted to post that all your comments within the code and guide did indeed help. Kudos, and thanks for this.

It is not an easy thing to do to convert the widgets, but if you follow this guide, you will not go astray.
