The BufferDistance widget (V3.2) is only for Point buffering. I wonder if the author, Mr. Robert Scheitlin, can extend the tool for general use with the functions for line and polygon's buffering, just using the components in eSearch-master (
http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=5d4995ccdb99429185dfd8d8fb2a513e). Thanks.

I am working on the customization now. But if there is an one for general, it will be great.

Customized the BufferDistanceWidget with the components in the DrawWidget. Now the Buffer tool works well for Line and Polygon also.
