Date format issue using Select by Attribute Widget

Hello all,

I am using the Select by Attribute Widget (thanks to mhoyland) for my application using Flex Viewer 2.3 and want to be able to query date ranges. It's working in respect to populating the values, but the date format appears to be a long date (ex. 10598686600000). Furthermore, when I do execute the query, I get this error message: [RPC Fault faultString="Unable to complete operation." faultCode="400" faultDetail="Unable to complete Query operation."]
In my MXD the field value is set to date - and when I perform a definition query, it works just fine. The REST endpoint value for the Date field (named SampleDa_1) looks like this: SampleDa_1 (Type: esriFieldTypeDate, Alias: SampleDa_1, Length: 8 )

Presumably there is something more underlying causing this problem. Any help is greatly appreciated! See screenshot below.

PS - By default, the Widget is named Selection, but I renamed it to be QUERY to mitigate my client's confusion. 🙂
