Accessing Secure Services From ArcGIS Viewer for Flex

I am attempting to sign into some secured services (under the Step 2 - Operational Layers portion of the builder). When I put in my username and password, I get a message at the bottom of the Sign In page that says Error #2032. The server that the secured data resides on is accessed using the web adapter (http://dog.cityoflacrosse.org/webadaptor/rest/services). When I take out the web adapter name in the URL and instead use the full name (http://dog.cityoflacrosse.org:6080/arcgis/rest/services), accessing the secured services works fine. I can access the secured services from outside the builder (using any browser), using the URL with the web adapter included. Any thoughts? Thanks.
